What your typical day will look like
- Monitor internal operations and documents to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations
- Develop, implement, and maintain up-to-date documentation, certifications, and SOPs
- Conduct internal audits related to Inditex, HIGG, Egyptian cotton, GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS
- Address non-compliance issues and develop corrective action plans
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to proactively identify risks or gaps
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff and workers on compliance, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices
- Liaise with third-party auditors, certification bodies, and government authorities as needed
- Keep checks on changes in laws and industry standards relevant to the textile and spinning sector
What you need to succeed in this role
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Environmental Science
- 3–4 years of experience in compliance, preferably in Spinning
- Familiarity with key industry certifications
- Strong understanding of local labor laws, EHS regulations, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
