The role of the Service Representative/Courier Team Lead is an important task to ensure that medical specimens, supplies, and reports are being delivered safely and within the allotted timeframe.
This is not merely a courier job – with leadership and scheduling as well as training and administration tasks also imparts. You will organize daily routes, give help to new drivers, and be a back up driver when necessary.
Job Title: Service Representative /Courier Team Lead
Location: Boise, Idaho
Schedule: Monday – Friday 12 pm to 8:30 pm (overtime and rotative weekends)

Based on your role as a Courier Team Lead, you will:
Pick up, carry, and deliver medical specimens, supplies and reports.
Coordinate and develop routes and schedules for drivers on a daily basis.
Train and support new couriers/drivers.
Assist with the Branch Manager for administrative tasks as it relates to professional services.
Scheduling and tracking deliveries by employing route management software.
Manage email traffic and phone traffic to deal with the client and vendor request
Custom predictive tests are a good first step and can be used to deliver customer satisfaction balance between accuracy, cost, and productivity.
Troubleshoot and solve specimen related issues quickly.
Perform clerical duties where needed.
Pickups complete and return on a daily basis in a timely and safe manner.
High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred but not required)
Must be at least 21 years old.
It is necessary to have a valid driver’s license.
Prior Experience: Previous experience in logistics, courier services or customer service will be an added advantage.
Experience as a medical courier is highly preferred.
Familiarity with route management software is a benefit.
Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of programs.
Good communication, organizational and even time management skills
Quickness in multi-tasking with great attention on detail
